राष्ट्र बैंकले एटीएमबाट पैसा झिक्ने सीमामा कडाई गर्यो — अब एक दिनमा अधिकतम ५० हजार रुपैयाँ झिक्न पाइनेNRB Tightens ATM Withdrawal Limits — Maximum NPR 20,000 per Transaction
नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले एटीएमबाट नगद निकासीको सीमा घटाउँदै नयाँ नियम लागू गरेको छ। अबदेखि एटीएमबाट एक पटकमा अधिकतम २० हजार रुपैयाँ मात्र निकाल्न सकिने भएको छ।
राष्ट्र बैंकले आज बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूलाई सर्कुलर जारी गर्दै उक्त व्यवस्था लागू गर्न निर्देशन दिएको हो। नयाँ व्यवस्थाअनुसार एक दिनमा अधिकतम ५० हजार रुपैयाँ र एक महिनामा तीन लाख रुपैयाँसम्म मात्र एटीएमबाट झिक्न पाइनेछ।
राष्ट्र बैंकका अनुसार यो निर्णय डिजिटल कारोबारलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्ने उद्देश्यले गरिएको हो। सर्कुलरमा बैंकहरूलाई डेबिट कार्डमार्फत हुने नगद कारोबार घटाउन र डिजिटल भुक्तानी प्रणालीलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्न आग्रह गरिएको छ।
यसअघि एक पटकमा २५ हजार, दैनिक एक लाख र मासिक चार लाख रुपैयाँसम्म निकासी गर्न पाइन्थ्यो। अब नयाँ सीमा लागू भएपछि एटीएम प्रयोगकर्ताले सानो रकमकै लागि पनि बढी सावधानी अपनाउनुपर्ने देखिएको छ।
Kathmandu, October 10 — The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has introduced stricter limits on cash withdrawals from ATMs. Under the new rule, customers can now withdraw a maximum of NPR 20,000 per transaction.
In a circular issued today to all banks and financial institutions, NRB also set a daily withdrawal limit of NPR 50,000 and a monthly limit of NPR 300,000 through ATMs.
The central bank stated that the decision aims to promote digital transactions and discourage excessive cash withdrawals. The circular directs banks to reduce cash-based debit card transactions and to encourage customers to use digital payment systems instead.
Previously, the ATM withdrawal limits were NPR 25,000 per transaction, NPR 100,000 per day, and NPR 400,000 per month. With the new restrictions, customers will need to plan withdrawals more carefully and are expected to shift towards online payment channels.
