बजारमा तरलता बढेपछि राष्ट्र बैंकले ३० अर्ब रुपैयाँ बैंकिङ प्रणालीबाट खिच्दै, आजै बोलकबोलNRB to Withdraw Rs. 30 Billion from Banking System Amid Excess Liquidity
नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले बैंकिङ प्रणालीबाट ३० अर्ब रुपैयाँ खिच्ने भएको छ । बैंकिङ प्रणालीमा अत्यधिक तरलता देखिएपछि राष्ट्र बैंकले निक्षेप संकलनमार्फत उक्त रकम संकलन गर्न लागेको हो ।
राष्ट्र बैंकले आज (आइतबार) दिउँसो ३ बजे ६३ दिनका लागि निक्षेप संकलनको बोलकबोल प्रक्रिया सञ्चालन गर्ने जनाएको छ । बोलकबोलमा न्यूनतम १० करोड रुपैयाँ र त्यसपछि पाँच करोड रुपैयाँको गुणनफलमा रहेको निःशेष रकमसम्म बोल गर्न सकिने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ ।
यो निक्षेप संकलनको सावाँ तथा ब्याज भुक्तानी आगामी भदौ १५ गते हुनेछ । ब्याजदर प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक बोलकबोल (competitive auction) प्रणालीमार्फत निर्धारण गरिने छ ।
राष्ट्र बैंकले स्पष्ट पारेको छ कि यो बोलकबोलमा ‘क’, ‘ख’ र ‘ग’ वर्गका इजाजतप्राप्त बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरू मात्र सहभागी हुन सक्नेछन् । यस प्रणालीमा बहु-ब्याजदर प्रस्ताव गर्न सकिने र बहुबोलकबोलको सम्भावना पनि खुला गरिएको छ ।
तरलता व्यवस्थापन गर्न राष्ट्र बैंकले यस्तो उपाय अपनाएको हो, जसले छोटो अवधिमा बजारबाट अतिरिक्त नगद घटाएर मौद्रिक सन्तुलन कायम गर्न सहयोग पुग्नेछ भन्ने विश्वास गरिएको छ ।
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced plans to withdraw Rs. 30 billion from the banking system on Sunday through a deposit collection auction. The move comes in response to excess liquidity in the banking sector.
The central bank has scheduled the auction for 3 PM today, with a maturity period of 63 days. The minimum bid amount is set at Rs. 100 million, and bids must be made in multiples of Rs. 50 million. Partial allotment will be done up to the total announced amount. The principal and interest payments are due on Bhadra 15 (August 31), and the interest rate will be determined via the competitive bidding process.
According to NRB, the auction will be conducted based on interest rate bidding. Multiple interest rates and bids will be accepted. Only licensed Class 'A', 'B', and 'C' banks and financial institutions are eligible to participate in this deposit collection auction.
The central bank is employing this measure to absorb excess liquidity from the market and help maintain monetary balance in the short term.
