राजनीतिक अस्थिरताले अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय व्यापारमा संकट, सीमा नाका अवरुद्ध, चाडबाडको तयारीमा असर Political Instability Triggers Crisis in International Trade, Border Crossings Closed, Festival Preparations Affected
देशको परिवर्तित राजनीतिक अवस्थासँगै अहिले मुलुकभित्र यातायात तथा सीमा नाका पूर्णरुपमा बन्द भएका छन्। यसले गर्दा नेपाल–भारत र नेपाल–चीनबीचको आयात–निर्यात ठप्प बनेको छ।
सीमा नाका अवरुद्ध
भन्सार विभागका निर्देशक तथा सूचना अधिकारी किशोर बर्तौलाका अनुसार हाल भारत र चीन दुवैतर्फ जाँचपास प्रक्रिया नै रोकिएको छ। भारततर्फ भारतीय सीमा सुरक्षा बलले यात्रुहरूको आवाजाहीमा कडाइ गरेको छ, जसले गर्दा अत्यावश्यक सामग्री आपूर्ति समेत प्रभावित भएको छ।
चीनतर्फका नाकामध्ये रसुवागढीमा मितेरी पुल अझै बनेको छैन भने सडक सुचारु भइसकेको छैन। तातोपानी नाकामा पनि सडक सहज नभएकाले व्यापार अवरुद्ध भएको छ।
यातायात क्षेत्रको ठप्प अवस्था
मुलुकभित्र हाल सार्वजनिक तथा मालवाहक सवारीसाधन चल्न सकेका छैनन्। राष्ट्रिय यातायात व्यवसायी महासंघले सुरक्षा प्रत्याभूति नभएसम्म यातायात सञ्चालन असम्भव हुने स्पष्ट गरेको छ।
चाडबाडको तयारीमा असर
भदौ महिना परम्परागत रूपमा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय व्यापार बढी हुने समय हो। दशैं–तिहारका लागि लक्षित मालसामान यही समयमा भित्रिने प्रचलन छ। तर सीमा नाका र यातायात बन्द हुँदा यो वर्ष चाडबाडका सामग्रीमा समेत अभाव हुने देखिएको छ।
यस परिस्थितिले मुलुकको अर्थतन्त्रमा थप दबाब सिर्जना गरेको छ र निकट भविष्यमा मूल्यवृद्धि तथा आपूर्ति संकट देखिने चिन्ता बढेको छ।
With the country’s changing political situation, transport services and border checkpoints have been completely shut down, bringing imports and exports between Nepal–India and Nepal–China to a standstill.
Border Crossings Blocked
According to Customs Department Director and Information Officer Kishor Bartoula, customs clearance on both the Indian and Chinese sides has been halted. On the Indian side, the Border Security Force has imposed strict restrictions on the movement of Nepali travelers, which has also disrupted the supply of essential goods.
On the Chinese side, trade has been blocked as the friendship bridge at Rasuwagadhi has not yet been constructed and the connecting road is still not fully operational. Similarly, the road condition at Tatopani remains difficult, further obstructing trade.
Transport Sector at a Standstill
Within the country, the movement of public and freight vehicles has completely stopped. The National Federation of Transport Entrepreneurs has clarified that transport operations cannot resume until adequate security guarantees are provided.
Impact on Festival Preparations
Traditionally, September is a peak period for international trade, as most goods are imported in preparation for the Dashain and Tihar festivals. However, with the closure of borders and transportation, there are fears of shortages in festival-related goods this year.
