Prabhu Insurance to Hold AGM on April 22, Proposes 8.70% Bonus Shares and 0.45% Cash Dividend

Kathmandu – Prabhu Insurance Limited has announced that its 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on April 22, 2026 (Baisakh 9, 2083). The decision was made during the company’s 460th board meeting held on Chaitra 17, 2082.The AGM will take place at Prabhu Complex, Tinkune, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 AM. The meeting is expected to endorse the company’s financial statements and approve the proposed dividend distribution for the fiscal year.The company has proposed distributing 8.70% bonus shares along with a 0.4579% cash dividend for tax purposes. The total value of the bonus shares stands at approximately NPR 147.9 million, while the cash dividend amounts to around NPR 7.7 million.For AGM and dividend purposes, the company has decided to close its share register (book closure) on Chaitra 26, 2082 (April 9, 2026). Shareholders holding shares until that date will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the proposed dividends.Currently, the company’s paid-up capital stands at approximately NPR 1.70 billion. The company has already notified the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) regarding this decision.
