Preparation of the government to bring a budget of 19 trillion

The National Resource Estimation Committee has prepared to increase the budget ceiling for the upcoming fiscal year. This means that there will be even more money spent from the budget starting from the next year.
The committee had decided to set the budget ceiling at 18 billion rupees on the 1st of Falgun (mid-February). However, due to thorough analysis and preparation, they are now gearing up to raise the budget ceiling to over 19 billion rupees.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had directed to prepare for a budget of 19 billion rupees, following which the National Planning Commission's Vice Chairman, Meen Bahadur Shrestha, led the committee's preparation to increase the budget ceiling.
The committee has presented some key suggestions for raising the budget ceiling. These include raising funds from revenue by 127 billion rupees, 260 billion rupees from foreign loans and aid, and 270 billion rupees from domestic loans. Based on these suggestions, the committee has made the decision to increase the budget ceiling.
The committee has carefully studied the suggestions and believes that the proposed budget size aligns with the Prime Minister's directives. After increasing the ceiling, the committee is now preparing to recommend borrowing up to 310 billion rupees from domestic sources.
Similarly, the committee has proposed gathering 300 billion rupees from foreign loans and assistance and 1.29 trillion rupees from revenue to meet the budget ceiling. This indicates that the committee is actively working to ensure adequate funds for the budget.
The committee's suggestions have been thoroughly examined and it is believed that the proposed budget size is appropriate. Therefore, the decision to increase the budget ceiling has been made in accordance with the Prime Minister's directives.
