गत भदौ १० गते रसुवाको भोटेकोशी नदीमा आएको विनाशकारी बाढीबाट प्रभावितहरूको उद्धार र राहतका लागि प्राइम कमर्सियल बैंकले ३ करोड ८ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको सहायता प्रदान गरेको छ। बैंकको सञ्चालक समितिका अध्यक्ष राजेन्द्रदास श्रेष्ठले अर्थ मन्त्रालयमा पुगेर अर्थमन्त्री डा. स्वर्णिम वाग्लेलाई उक्त सहयोग हस्तान्तरण गरेका हुन्।
बैंकले उपलब्ध गराएको कुल सहयोगमध्ये ३ करोड १ लाख रुपैयाँ प्रधानमन्त्री दैवी प्रकोप उद्धार कोषमा नगद जम्मा गरिएको छ। यसबाहेक प्रभावित क्षेत्रका नागरिकको तत्कालको आवश्यकतालाई मध्यनजर गर्दै थप ७ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको अत्यावश्यक खाद्यान्न सामग्रीसमेत बैंकले उपलब्ध गराएको छ। जनधनको ठूलो क्षतिप्रति दुःख व्यक्त गर्दै बैंकले संस्थागत सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व (सीएसआर) अन्तर्गत यो कदम चालिएको जनाएको छ।
प्राकृतिक विपद्को समयमा राज्य र नागरिकलाई मद्दत गर्न आफूहरू सधैँ तत्पर रहेको बैंकले स्पष्ट पारेको छ। विगतका प्राकृतिक प्रकोपहरूमा पनि अग्रपङ्क्तिमा रहेर उद्धार तथा पुनर्निर्माणमा सघाएको स्मरण गर्दै बैंकले आगामी दिनमा समेत सरकार र सम्बन्धित निकायसँगको यस्तो सहकार्यलाई निरन्तरता दिने प्रतिबद्धता जनाएको छ।
Prime Commercial Bank has provided assistance worth NPR 30.8 million for the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of those affected by the devastating floods that struck the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa. The bank's Board Chairman, Rajendra Das Shrestha, officially handed over the contribution to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle.
Out of the total assistance, the bank deposited NPR 30.1 million in cash into the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund. Additionally, addressing the immediate needs of the displaced communities, the bank provided essential food supplies worth NPR 700,000. Expressing deep sorrow over the massive loss of life and property, the institution stated that this support was mobilized under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Reaffirming its commitment to standing by the state and citizens during times of crisis, the bank noted its active history of supporting rescue and reconstruction efforts during past natural disasters. Moving forward, Prime Commercial Bank has pledged to continue its collaboration with the government and relevant authorities to assist disaster-stricken communities.
