प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीद्वारा स्पेनका उद्यमीलाई नेपालमा लगानी गर्न आह्वानPrime Minister Oli Urges Spanish Entrepreneurs to Invest in Nepal
प्रधानमन्त्री केपी शर्मा ओलीले स्पेनका उद्यमी तथा व्यवसायीहरूलाई नेपालको पर्यटन, कृषि, सूचना प्रविधि र पूर्वाधार क्षेत्रमा लगानी गर्न आह्वान गरेका छन्। बुधबार स्पेनस्थित नेपाली दूतावास र स्पेन उद्योग वाणिज्य सङ्घको संयुक्त आयोजनामा सम्पन्न नेपाल–स्पेन व्यवसायिक छलफल कार्यक्रममा सम्बोधन गर्दै प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीले ‘समृद्ध नेपाल, सुखी नेपाली’को राष्ट्रिय आकांक्षालाई साकार पार्न विदेशी लगानीलाई प्रोत्साहन गरिरहेको उल्लेख गरे।
प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीले नेपालमा लगानीका लागि उपयुक्त वातावरण तयार भएको बताउँदै निजी क्षेत्रलाई आर्थिक वृद्धिको इञ्जिनको रूपमा उल्लेख गरे। लगानी बोर्ड नेपालको अध्यक्षका रूपमा उनले लगानीकर्ताको सुरक्षाका साथै सहजीकरणका लागि सरकारले सबै आवश्यक काम गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गरे।
कार्यक्रममा नेपाल उद्योग वाणिज्य महासङ्घका अध्यक्ष चन्द्रप्रसाद ढकालले नेपालमा लगानीका विविध सम्भावनाहरू रहेको जानकारी गराउँदै सरकारले आवश्यक कानुनी सहजीकरण गरिसकेको बताए। स्पेनका सरकारी तथा निजी संस्थाका प्रतिनिधिहरूले नेपाल–स्पेन आर्थिक साझेदारीलाई अझ मजबुत बनाउन आफूहरू तयार रहेको धारणा राखे।
कार्यक्रममा प्रधानमन्त्रीका मुख्य सल्लाहकार विष्णुप्रसाद रिमाल, खानेपानीमन्त्री प्रदीप यादव, परराष्ट्र सचिव अमृतकुमार राई, अर्थ सचिव घनश्याम उपाध्याय, प्रधानमन्त्री कार्यालयका सचिव राजकुमार श्रेष्ठ, खानेपानी मन्त्रालयकी सचिव प्रमिलादेवी शाक्य बज्राचार्य र स्पेनका लागि नेपाली राजदूत शनील नेपाललगायतको सहभागिता रहेको थियो।
प्रधानमन्त्री ओली सेभिल्लामा आयोजित संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघीय ‘विकासका लागि वित्त’ विषयक चौथो अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सम्मेलनमा भाग लिएपछि बुधबार मेड्रिड फर्किएका हुन्।
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called on Spanish entrepreneurs and investors to explore opportunities in Nepal’s tourism, agriculture, information technology, and infrastructure sectors. Addressing a business and investment dialogue organized jointly by the Nepali Embassy in Spain and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli said that Nepal is moving ahead with the national vision of "Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali" and is actively encouraging foreign investment to achieve this goal.
Highlighting Nepal as a land of immense potential, home to Mount Everest and a rich cultural history, Oli emphasized that the country offers ideal investment conditions. He stated, “The private sector is the engine of economic growth. This government is committed to increasing investment and promoting innovation. As the Chairperson of the Investment Board Nepal, I assure you that the government will ensure investor protection and facilitation.”
Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal also spoke at the event, noting Nepal’s strong investment prospects in various sectors and explaining that the government has provided the necessary legal and institutional frameworks to support foreign investors.
Representatives from Spanish government agencies and business institutions expressed their readiness to further strengthen economic and trade relations between Nepal and Spain.
The event was attended by key officials including Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Minister for Water Supply Pradeep Yadav, Foreign Secretary Amrit Kumar Rai, Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay, PM’s Office Secretary Raj Kumar Shrestha, Water Supply Ministry Secretary Pramila Devi Shakya Bajracharya, and Nepali Ambassador to Spain Shanil Nepal.
Prime Minister Oli returned to Madrid on Wednesday after participating in the Fourth United Nations International Conference on "Financing for Development" held in Seville, Spain.
