Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited has published its financial report for the second quarter of the current fiscal year. While the company continues to face financial losses, its 111 MW hydropower project has officially started commercial production.
Loss
The company reported a net loss of Rs. 30.18 million in the second quarter of this fiscal year.
Last year, for the same period, the company had a loss of Rs. 20.69 million.
Increased Operating Loss
The company recorded an operating loss of Rs. 3.64 million this quarter.
Last year, the operating loss for the same period was Rs. 1.73 million.

Paid-up capital: Rs. 6.84 billion
Reserve fund: Negative Rs. 411.8 million
Negative EPS (Earnings Per Share)
The EPS stands at -Rs. 0.88 per share.

The company's net worth per share is Rs. 93.98.
The Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project officially started commercial electricity production on Poush 16. The company, a subsidiary of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), has installed three turbines, each with a capacity of 33 MW, to generate electricity.
