अविरल वर्षासँगै आएको बाढी र पहिरोका कारण विभिन्न जलविद्युत् आयोजनामा फसेका कर्मचारी तथा मजदुरको उद्धार कार्यलाई नेपाल विद्युत् प्राधिकरणले तीव्र पारेको छ। जोखिममा परेका जनशक्तिलाई सुरक्षित स्थानमा सार्न बिहीबार काठमाडौंबाट थप हेलिकप्टर परिचालन गरिएको छ।
विशेषगरी रसुवा, नुवाकोट र शान्ति बजार क्षेत्रका आयोजनामा कार्यरत जनशक्ति बाढीको उच्च जोखिममा परेपछि उनीहरूको स्थानान्तरणलाई पहिलो प्राथमिकतामा राखिएको हो। प्राधिकरणका अनुसार, सुरक्षा निकायसँगको समन्वयमा दक्ष जनशक्ति, आवश्यक उपकरण र राहत सामग्रीसहितको टोली प्रभावित क्षेत्रमा खटिसकेको छ।
विपद्को यस घडीमा मानवीय सुरक्षा नै मुख्य एजेन्डा रहेको जनाउँदै प्राधिकरणले आवश्यकताअनुसार उद्धार तथा राहतका थप कामहरू निरन्तर अघि बढाउने स्पष्ट पारेको छ।
यसैबीच, कठिन परिस्थितिको फाइदा उठाउँदै सामाजिक सञ्जालमा अनधिकृत र भ्रामक सूचनाहरू फैलिन सक्ने भन्दै प्राधिकरणले सचेत गराएको छ। अफवाहको पछि नलाग्न र आधिकारिक निकायबाट आउने सूचनामा मात्र विश्वास गरी धैर्यता अपनाउन सर्वसाधारण तथा सरोकारवालालाई अपिल गरिएको छ।
The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has stepped up rescue efforts for employees and laborers trapped in various hydropower projects following massive floods and landslides. To ensure the safe and swift evacuation of the stranded personnel, additional helicopters were mobilized from Kathmandu today.
Evacuation efforts are currently focused on workers stationed at projects in the Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Shanti Bazar areas, who are at extremely high risk. According to the NEA, a specialized rescue team—equipped with essential gear, relief materials, and skilled personnel—has already been dispatched to the affected regions in close coordination with security forces.
Emphasizing that human life and safety remain its utmost priority during this disaster, the authority stated that rescue and relief operations will continue seamlessly based on on-ground requirements.
Meanwhile, the NEA has appealed to everyone to remain calm and patient during this crisis. The authority has also strongly urged the public and stakeholders not to fall for unauthorized rumors circulating on social media, advising them to rely exclusively on verified information issued by official sources.
