Resource Management Becoming Challenging: Deputy PM Paudel
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has stated that resource management for the country’s overall development is becoming increasingly challenging. Speaking at an event organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal on Tuesday, he highlighted this concern.
He urged domestic and foreign private sectors to invest in Nepal, boost production, create jobs, earn profits, pay taxes, and be recognized as exemplary taxpayers. Paudel noted that the government has been fostering an investment-friendly environment through ordinances. “Those ordinances have now become laws. Regulations, guidelines, and standards required under these laws are ready and will soon be approved by the Cabinet,” he said.
Paudel emphasized the government’s commitment to creating an investment-friendly climate, adding that Nepal offers ample investment opportunities. “Resource management is a challenge, but we are working to attract investors,” he concluded.
