सगरमाथा संवाद २०२५ सम्पन्न, जलवायु परिवर्तनविरुद्ध २५ बुँदे घोषणा पत्र सार्वजनिकSagarmatha Dialogue Concludes with a Message of Shared Understanding on the Climate Crisis
जलवायु संकट समाधानका लागि साझा समझदारीको सन्देशसहित २५ बुँदे ‘सगरमाथा कल फर एक्सन’ घोषणा पत्र सार्वजनिक गर्दै सगरमाथा संवाद २०२५ आइतबार सम्पन्न भएको छ।
परराष्ट्रमन्त्री डा. आरजु राणा देउवाले समापन समारोहमा उक्त घोषणापत्र सार्वजनिक गर्दै संवाद औपचारिक रूपमा समापन गरिन्। मन्त्री राणाले जलवायु परिवर्तनका कारण हिमालदेखि टापु राष्ट्रसम्म देखिएका समस्याबारे अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय स्तरमा आवाज उठाउन सगरमाथा संवाद सफल भएको बताइन्। उनले निष्कर्षको कार्यान्वयनका लागि सामूहिक प्रयास अपरिहार्य रहेको उल्लेख गरिन्।
उनको भनाइमा संवादमा प्रस्तुत भएका विषयवस्तु र सुझावहरूलाई विभिन्न अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मञ्चहरूमा प्रस्तुत गरिनेछ। जलवायु परिवर्तनका असर घटाउने सामूहिक प्रतिबद्धताको दिशामा सगरमाथा संवाद ऐतिहासिक मञ्च बनेको उनले बताइन् ।
The Sagarmatha Dialogue 2025 concluded on Sunday with the release of a 25-point declaration titled the “Sagarmatha Call for Action”, delivering a strong message of collective understanding to address the global climate crisis.
Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba officially announced the declaration and formally closed the event. In her closing remarks, Minister Deuba emphasized that the dialogue was instrumental in raising global awareness about the impacts of climate change — from the Himalayas to small island nations. She stressed the need for collective efforts to implement the dialogue’s conclusions and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Dr. Deuba also mentioned that the ideas and recommendations discussed during the event will be presented on various international platforms to advocate for global climate action. She described the Sagarmatha Dialogue as a historic forum committed to reducing the effects of climate change.
Furthermore, she announced that the second edition of the Sagarmatha Dialogue will take place in 2027. The inaugural event, organized by the Government of Nepal, aimed to inform the global community about the impacts of climate change and explore sustainable solutions. The summit hosted high-level delegations from 12 countries and welcomed 175 international guests.
