Sanbhi Energy Limited to Issue IPO Starting April 18

Sanbhi Energy Limited is set to issue its Initial Public Offering (IPO) starting from April 18 (Vaishakh 5, 2082). The company plans to offer the IPO to project-affected locals in Ilam district and Nepalis working abroad under foreign employment permits.
According to the company, 880,000 shares will be allocated for the locals of Ilam district, while 291,000 shares will be reserved for Nepalis employed overseas. The Nepal Securities Board granted permission for the IPO issuance on March 24 (Chaitra 11, 2081). With this approval, the company is authorized to issue a total of 3.79 million shares worth NPR 379 million, targeting both project-affected locals and the general public.
Sanbhi Energy has been commercially producing electricity from its 7.6 MW Jogmai Khola hydropower project in Ilam since April 30, 2017 (Vaishakh 18, 2074). Additionally, the company is currently constructing the 5.2 MW Jogmai Cascade project in the same district.
This IPO issuance is expected to provide investment opportunities for locals and Nepalis abroad while supporting the company’s expansion efforts. Detailed information regarding the share application process will be released by the company soon.
