सरकारले सहकारी संस्थामा ५ लाख रुपैयाँसम्मको बचत गर्ने सदस्यको बचत सुरक्षण गर्ने घोषणा गरेको छ।
आगामी आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/०८३ को बजेट प्रस्तुत गर्दै अर्थमन्त्री विष्णुप्रसाद पौडेलले कर्जा तथा निक्षेप सुरक्षण प्रणालीमार्फत बचतकर्ताको रकम सुरक्षित गरिने जानकारी दिएका हुन्।
बजेटमा उल्लेख भएअनुसार, समस्याग्रस्त सहकारी संस्थाहरूका बचतकर्तालाई रकम फिर्ता गर्न विशेष कोष स्थापना गरिनेछ र त्यसका लागि सरकारले बीउ पुँजी उपलब्ध गराउने छ।
साथै, सहकारी क्षेत्रलाई व्यवस्थित र विश्वासिलो बनाउने उद्देश्यले सहकारीको वर्गीकरण, एकीकरण तथा संरचनागत सुधार गरिने व्यवस्था बजेटमा गरिएको छ।
समस्याग्रस्त सहकारी संस्थाका मुद्दाहरू समाधान गर्न सरकारले सञ्चालकको सम्पत्ति बिक्री गरी निक्षेपकर्ताको पैसा फिर्ता गर्ने कानुनी प्रक्रिया समेत अघि बढाउने स्पष्ट पारेको छ।
यो कदमले सहकारी क्षेत्रमा पछिल्लो समय देखिएको अनिश्चितता र जोखिम न्युनिकरणमा सहयोग पुग्ने विश्वास गरिएको छ।
Kathmandu, May 29 – The Government of Nepal has announced that savings of up to NPR 500,000 made by members of cooperative institutions will be secured through a credit and deposit protection mechanism.
Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel stated that a special fund will be established to return deposits to cooperative savers, and the government will contribute seed capital to this fund.
The budget also includes provisions for classification, consolidation, and structural reforms within the cooperative sector to make it more organized and trustworthy.
For troubled cooperatives, the government has announced that deposits will be refunded by liquidating the assets of the institution and its management. Legal procedures will be initiated to ensure depositor protection and accountability.
This move is expected to help restore confidence in the cooperative sector, which has recently faced growing concerns over financial mismanagement and deposit security.
