Sealed Bids for Joshi Hydropower's Unsold Right Shares to be Opened Today

Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited is set to open the sealed bids for its unsold ordinary shares (unclaimed rights shares) today, Monday. The auction was held to sell the unsubscribed portion of the company's previous rights issue to interested investors, institutions, and the general public.

The company had initially issued rights shares at a 1:0.65 ratio. Following the conclusion of the rights issue period, 189,927 units of ordinary shares remained unsubscribed by the general public. In accordance with prevailing regulations, the company invited sealed bids for these unsold shares through an auction process, with the application period running from October 14, 2025 (Ashwin 28, 2082) to October 28, 2025 (Kartik 11, 2082).

The sealed bid documents received during the application period will be opened today, Kartik 17, 2082 (Monday), at 10:00 AM. The bid opening event will take place at Agarwal Bhawan, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu.

The auction provided an opportunity for investors to acquire shares in the company through a competitive bidding process, with the minimum bid price set at Rs. 100 per share. The final allocation will be based on the highest bid prices received. LS Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Laxmi Sunrise Bank, is serving as the issue manager for the auction process.
