मंसिर मसान्तसम्म ७ शाखा बन्द, बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाको शाखा संख्या घट्योSeven Bank Branches Closed by Mid-Mangsir, Total Branch Numbers Decline
चालु आर्थिक वर्षको मंसिर मसान्तसम्म आइपुग्दा बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाका ७ वटा शाखा कार्यालय बन्द भएका छन्। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले सार्वजनिक गरेको तथ्याङ्कअनुसार चालु आर्थिक वर्षको सुरुदेखि मंसिर मसान्तसम्म बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाको कुल शाखा संख्यामा सामान्य कमी आएको देखिएको हो।
तथ्याङ्कअनुसार २०८२ असार मसान्तमा बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरू (लघुवित्त वित्तीय संस्थासमेत) का ११ हजार ५२६ शाखा रहेका थिए। तर २०८२ मंसिर मसान्तमा उक्त संख्या घटेर ११ हजार ५१९ मा सीमित भएको छ।
हाल बैंकिङ प्रणालीअन्तर्गत २० वटा वाणिज्य बैंक, १७ वटा विकास बैंक, १७ वटा वित्त कम्पनी, ५१ वटा लघुवित्त वित्तीय संस्था र १ वटा पूर्वाधार विकास बैंक गरी जम्मा १०६ वटा बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरू इजाजतपत्रप्राप्त भई सञ्चालनमा रहेका छन्।
नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकका अनुसार डिजिटल बैंकिङको विस्तार, सेवा समेकन तथा सञ्चालन लागत व्यवस्थापनका कारण शाखा पुनर्संरचनाको प्रक्रिया अघि बढिरहेका बेला केही शाखा बन्द भएका हुन्।
By mid-Mangsir of the current fiscal year, seven branch offices of banks and financial institutions have been closed in Nepal. According to data released by Nepal Rastra Bank, the total number of bank and financial institution branches has seen a slight decline from the beginning of the fiscal year to mid-Mangsir.
The data show that as of mid-Ashadh 2082, banks and financial institutions (including microfinance institutions) operated 11,526 branches across the country. By mid-Mangsir 2082, this number had decreased to 11,519 branches.
At present, a total of 106 banks and financial institutions are operating with licenses from Nepal Rastra Bank. These include 20 commercial banks, 17 development banks, 17 finance companies, 51 microfinance financial institutions, and one infrastructure development bank.
The central bank’s statistics indicate a gradual consolidation in the banking sector, reflecting adjustments in branch networks amid evolving banking practices and operational efficiency measures.
