Share Market Regulators Submit Report with Reform Measures to the Government, as Finance Minister

The three main regulatory bodies of the share market, the Nepal Securities Board, Nepal Stock Exchange, and CDS & Clearing Limited, have submitted their suggestions for capital market reforms to the government.
On the 27th of Fagun, the Ministry of Finance had directed these bodies to present their suggestions. The Ministry of Finance has been informed about the receipt of these suggestions from the respective offices.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Barsaman Pun has mentioned that discussions are ongoing between the ministry and regulatory bodies to relax some policies that were adopted during past economic crises. Speaking at a program of the Citizens Investment Trust, Minister Pun assured that immediate steps would be taken for the reform of the capital market.
Upon his appointment as the Finance Minister, Pun had expressed his commitment to resolving the issues of the capital market and boosting the morale of investors.
