Kathmandu, The stock market will be closed for two days due to the public holidays on the occasion of Janai Purnima and Gai Jatra. Today, Monday, Bhadra 3, marks Janai Purnima, and tomorrow, Tuesday, Bhadra 4, is Gai Jatra, both of which are public holidays, resulting in the closure of the stock market.
According to the government's decision, not only the stock market but also banks, financial institutions, and government offices will remain closed on these two days. Regular trading will resume on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
The closure provides investors with time to plan their strategies for the upcoming trading sessions. After the two-day holiday, the stock market will reopen on Wednesday, allowing investors to make decisions based on the latest market conditions.
