सेयर बजारको उतारचढावले राजस्वमा असर, पुँजीगत लाभकर संकलन घट्यो तर चैतमा पुनः वृद्धिStock Market Volatility Impacts Revenue as Capital Gains Tax Falls but Rebounds in Chaitra
काठमाडौँमा सेयर बजारको उतारचढावले सरकारी राजस्वमा प्रत्यक्ष प्रभाव पारेको देखिएको छ । चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो नौ महिनामा पुँजीगत लाभकर संकलन अघिल्लो वर्षको तुलनामा ३६.४३ प्रतिशतले घटेर ८ अर्ब १७ करोड रुपैयाँमा सीमित भएको छ । बजारमा देखिएको सुस्तता, घट्दो कारोबार र लगानीकर्ताको सतर्कताका कारण कर संकलनमा गिरावट आएको हो । वर्षको सुरुआतमा बजार उच्च हुँदा कर संकलन राम्रो भए पनि त्यसपछि बजार ओरालो लागेसँगै राजस्व घट्दै गएको थियो । यद्यपि चैत महिनामा बजार सुधारिएपछि कर संकलन उल्लेख्य रूपमा बढ्दै १ अर्ब ७३ करोड रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी पुगेको छ । यसले सेयर बजारको अवस्था र सरकारी राजस्वबीच प्रत्यक्ष सम्बन्ध रहेको स्पष्ट गरेको छ ।
In Kathmandu, fluctuations in the stock market have been directly impacting government revenue. During the first nine months of the current fiscal year, capital gains tax collection declined by 36.43% compared to the previous year, reaching only Rs. 8.17 billion. The decrease is attributed to a slowdown in the market, reduced trading activity, and cautious investor behavior. Although tax collection was strong when the market was at its peak at the beginning of the year, it gradually declined as the market entered a downturn. However, in Chaitra, tax collection increased significantly to over Rs. 1.73 billion as the market showed signs of recovery. This clearly indicates a direct link between stock market performance and government revenue.
