काठमाडौं । नेपाल प्रहरीको केन्द्रीय अनुसन्धान ब्युरो (सीआईबी)ले सन नेपाल लाइफ इन्स्योरेन्स कम्पनीका प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृत (सीईओ) राजकुमार अर्याललाई सेयर किर्तेसम्बन्धी आरोपमा पक्राउ गरेको छ। उनीमाथि कर्मचारीलाई छुट्याइएको सेयर बाँडफाँटमा अनियमितता गरेको आरोप लागेको हो।स्रोतका अनुसार कर्मचारीको नाममा सेयर बाँडफाँट गर्दा झुठा विवरण तयार पारिएको र त्यसमार्फत आफूलाई बढी सेयर राखिएको आशंकामा अनुसन्धान अघि बढाइएको हो। यस विषयमा नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्ड (सेबोन)ले गरेको प्रारम्भिक अध्ययन प्रतिवेदन सीआईबीमा पठाएपछि अनुसन्धान प्रक्रिया तीव्र बनाइएको हो।सेबोनको निर्देशनअनुसार कम्पनीलाई कर्मचारीका लागि छुट्याइएको सेयर पुनः बाँडफाँट गर्न भनिएको छ। साथै, अर्यालमाथि धितोपत्र ऐनअनुसार जरिवाना वा अन्य कारबाही गर्नुपर्ने सुझावसमेत दिइएको जनाइएको छ।घटनाले बीमा क्षेत्र तथा पूँजी बजारमा तरंग ल्याएको छ भने नियामक निकायको निगरानी र पारदर्शितामाथि पुनः प्रश्न उठाएको छ। सीआईबीले थप अनुसन्धान जारी राखेको जनाएको छ।
Kathmandu. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested Raj Kumar Aryal, CEO of Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company, on allegations of share fraud. He is accused of manipulating the allocation of shares meant for employees.According to sources, Aryal allegedly prepared false records during the employee share distribution process and secured a larger portion of shares for himself. The investigation was initiated after the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) forwarded its preliminary study report to the CIB.Based on SEBON’s directive, the company has been instructed to reallocate the employee shares. The board has also recommended that Aryal be penalized or face legal action in accordance with the Securities Act.The incident has created a stir in the insurance sector and capital market, raising concerns over transparency and regulatory oversight. Authorities have stated that further investigation is ongoing.
