Support Laghubitta to Hold AGM on Poush 30 to Approve 10% Dividend Proposal

Support Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMB) has called its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve the dividend proposal from the profits of the previous fiscal year. The AGM will be held on Poush 30 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM at Sky Lux Hotel, Itahari–1, Sunsari. The meeting will approve a proposal to distribute a 9.50 percent bonus share along with a 0.50 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes) based on the company’s paid-up capital. In addition, the AGM will discuss proposals related to merger and acquisition activities, amendments to the Memorandum and Articles of Association, authorization to the Board of Directors, election of one director representing the promoter shareholders, and appointment of an auditor. For AGM and dividend distribution purposes, the company has announced a book closure on Poush 16 for one day. Accordingly, shareholders who maintain their shareholding until Poush 14 through trading on NEPSE will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the declared dividend.
