सिन्धुपाल्चोक — नेपाल–चीन व्यापारको प्रमुख स्थलमार्ग तातोपानी नाका तीन साताभन्दा बढी समयदेखि अवरुद्ध हुँदा आयात–निर्यात प्रभावित भएको छ। सडकका विभिन्न खण्डमा पहिरो खसेपछि चीनबाट सामान बोकेर आएका कन्टेनर नेपाल प्रवेश गर्न सकेका छैनन्।
तातोपानी भन्सार कार्यालयका अनुसार सडक अवरुद्ध भएपछि नाकाबाट हुने नियमित व्यापारिक गतिविधि रोकिएको छ। प्रमुख भन्सार अधिकृत दीपेन्द्रप्रकाश गिरीले सडक सञ्चालनमा नआएसम्म चीनतर्फबाट मालवाहक कन्टेनर भित्रिने अवस्था नरहेको बताए।
सडक कहिलेसम्म खुल्ने भन्ने निश्चित नभएको भन्सार कार्यालयले जनाएको छ। नाका लामो समय बन्द हुँदा चीनबाट आयात हुने वस्तुको आपूर्ति प्रभावित हुनुका साथै व्यवसायीसमेत समस्यामा परेका छन्।
पहिरो हटाएर सडक सञ्चालनमा आएपछि मात्रै तातोपानी नाकाबाट नियमित आयात–निर्यात पुनः सुरु हुने जनाइएको छ।
Sindhupalchok — Trade between Nepal and China through the Tatopani border point has been disrupted for more than three weeks after landslides blocked several sections of the road leading to the border.
According to the Tatopani Customs Office, cargo containers carrying goods from China have been unable to enter Nepal due to the road obstruction. As a result, regular import and export activities through the border have come to a halt.
Chief Customs Officer Dipendra Prakash Giri said there is still no certainty over when the road will reopen. He said movement of cargo vehicles from the Chinese side would remain affected until the road is restored.
The prolonged closure has also disrupted the supply of imported goods and affected commercial activities. Regular trade through the Tatopani border is expected to resume only after the blocked road is reopened.
