It was also mentioned that the arrears will be collected within 15 days based on TOD meters.

Decision to Reconnect Power Lines: The Cabinet meeting on Sunday decided to reconnect the power lines of more than 30 industries, starting from Monday.

Electricity Tariff Dispute: The authority had cut the lines of those industries due to a dispute over dedicated electricity tariffs, which had negatively impacted industrial production.

Decision to Collect Arrears: The Cabinet also decided to collect the outstanding electricity dues within 15 days based on TOD meters. This will create an obligation for the industries to pay their dues within the stipulated time.

Government's Support: The government made this decision to bring the industries back into operation. It is expected that this will ease the power supply to the industries and reduce the impact on production.
