Three candidates have been called for a re-interview to expedite the selection process for the chairman of the Nepal Securities Board.
The selection committee has invited Krishna Bahadur Karki, Chiranjivi Chapagain, and Dr. Navaraj Adhikari, who were previously absent, to attend the interview.
The candidates have been asked to appear at the Ministry of Finance, Singha Durbar, on Mangsir 9 at 8 a.m.
The board has been without a chairman since 20th Poush 2080, causing a delay in the appointment process.
Previously, only Santosh Narayan Shrestha and Executive Director Mukti Shrestha of the Securities Board attended the interview.
The delay in the chairman selection process has affected regulatory functions, and there is a high expectation that the position will soon be filled to enhance financial oversight and management.
