चार सार्वजनिक संस्थानको निजीकरण मूल्याङ्कनका लागि तीन कम्पनी प्राविधिक रूपमा योग्यThree Firms Technically Qualified to Evaluate Four Public Enterprises for Privatization
चारवटा सार्वजनिक संस्थानको लगानी तथा सम्पत्ति मूल्याङ्कनका लागि तीनवटा कम्पनी प्राविधिक रूपमा योग्य ठहरिएको अर्थ मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ। मन्त्रालयले साउन २० गते सार्वजनिक संस्थानहरूको निजीकरण प्रक्रिया अघि बढाउनका लागि मूल्याङ्कनकर्ताको बोलपत्र आह्वान गरेको थियो।
मन्त्रालयले नेपाल मेटल कम्पनी लिमिटेड, नेपाल ओरियन्ट म्याग्नेसाइट प्रा.लि., बुटवल धागो कारखाना लिमिटेड र जनकपुर चुरोट कारखाना लिमिटेडका मूल्याङ्कनका लागि प्रस्ताव मागेको थियो। प्राप्त बोलपत्रमध्ये S&S PJPN JV सबै चार संस्थानको मूल्याङ्कनका लागि प्राविधिक रूपमा योग्य देखिएको छ।
त्यस्तै, नेपाल ओरियन्ट म्याग्नेसाइट र बुटवल धागो कारखानाका मूल्याङ्कनका लागि सोही कम्पनी एकल रूपमा सफल भएको मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ।
यद्यपि, नेपाल मेटल कम्पनी र जनकपुर चुरोट कारखानाका लागि थप एक–एक बोलपत्रदाता पनि योग्य ठहरिएका छन्। नेपाल मेटल कम्पनीका लागि Jin & Associates र जनकपुर चुरोट कारखानाका लागि S. Subedi & Associates प्राविधिक रूपमा योग्य देखिएका हुन्।
अब यी संस्थानहरूको निजीकरण मूल्याङ्कनका लागि योग्य ठहरिएका कम्पनीहरूको आर्थिक प्रस्ताव मंसिर २१ गते आइतबार खोलिने जानकारी मन्त्रालयले दिएको छ।
सरकारले लामो समयदेखि स्थगित अवस्थामा रहेका सार्वजनिक संस्थानहरूको निजीकरण एवं पुनर्संरचनालाई तीव्रता दिने उद्देश्यसँगै मूल्याङ्कन प्रक्रिया अगाडि बढाएको बताइएको छ।
Three companies have been technically qualified to conduct investment and asset valuation of four public enterprises, according to the Ministry of Finance. The ministry had invited proposals on Shrawan 20 to appoint valuation firms as part of the government’s ongoing privatization efforts.
The proposals were sought for the valuation of Nepal Metal Company Ltd., Nepal Orient Magnesite Pvt. Ltd., Butwal Spinning Mill Ltd., and Janakpur Cigarette Factory Ltd. Among the applicants, S&S PJPN JV has been declared technically qualified for the valuation of all four institutions.
Similarly, the same firm has emerged as the sole technically qualified applicant for the valuation of Nepal Orient Magnesite and Butwal Spinning Mill.
However, for the valuation of Nepal Metal Company and Janakpur Cigarette Factory, one additional applicant has been technically qualified in each. Jin & Associates qualified for the valuation of Nepal Metal Company, while S. Subedi & Associates qualified for Janakpur Cigarette Factory.
The ministry has stated that the financial proposals of the technically qualified firms will be opened on Sunday, Mangsir 21.
The government is moving forward with this process as part of its plan to accelerate the privatization and restructuring of long-stalled public enterprises.
