U.S. President Donald Trump has directed the Pentagon to temporarily halt a planned military strike on Iran scheduled for Tuesday. He stated that the decision was made as Gulf allies are actively pushing for a peace agreement with Iran. In a post on Truth Social, Trump confirmed that the planned strike has been postponed for now, although he warned that the U.S. remains fully prepared to carry out a large-scale military operation if an acceptable deal is not reached. According to Trump, serious negotiations are currently underway with Iran, and leaders from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE requested the pause in military action. He emphasized that preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons remains the central condition of any potential agreement.
