२०२५ मे २३, वाशिङ्टन — अमेरिका राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्पले पुनः व्यापार युद्धको चेतावनी दिँदै युरोपेली संघ र एप्पल कम्पनीमाथि ठूलो महसुल प्रस्ताव गरेका छन्। उनले युरोपेली संघ (EU) बाट आयात हुने सबै वस्तुहरूमा ५० प्रतिशतको महसुल सिफारिस गरेका छन्, जुन २०२५ जुन १ बाट लागु हुने बताइएको छ।
साथै, उनले एप्पल कम्पनीलाई चेतावनी दिएका छन् कि यदि आइफोन अमेरिका बाहिर उत्पादन गरियो भने २५ प्रतिशत महसुल तिर्नुपर्नेछ। ट्रम्पले यस कदमलाई “अमेरिका फर्स्ट” नीतिको हिस्सा भन्दै देशभित्र उत्पादन बढाउने लक्ष्य रहेको बताएका छन्।
