युनाइटेड मोदी हाइड्रोपावर लिमिटेडले स्थगित भएको वार्षिक साधारण सभा पुनः २०८० जेठ २७ गते गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। कम्पनीको बुधवार बसेको सञ्चालक समितिको बैठकले सभा कालीमाटी ब्याक्वेटमा बिहान ११ बजे शुरु हुने जानकारी दिएको छ।
यसअघि आयोजना गरिएको साधारण सभा गणपूरक संख्या नपुगेर स्थगित भएको थियो। अब हुने सभामा गत आर्थिक वर्षको वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन छलफल गरी पारित गर्ने, चालू आर्थिक वर्षको लेखापरीक्षणका लागि लेखापरीक्षकको नियुक्ति र पारिश्रमिक निर्धारण गर्ने प्रस्ताव पारित गरिनेछ।
यस सभाले कम्पनीको शेयर लगानी रहेको युनाइटेड मेवा खोला हाइड्रोपावरको मेवा खोला जलविद्युत आयोजनामा लगानी गर्न १:१ अनुपातमा हकप्रद शेयर निष्कासन गर्ने प्रस्ताव पारित गर्नेछ।
साधारण सभामा कम्पनीको सञ्चालक समितिमा ४ जना नयाँ सञ्चालकको निर्वाचन गर्ने र अन्य लगानीयोग्य क्षेत्र पहिचान गरी लगानी गर्न आवश्यक परेमा सञ्चालक समितिलाई अख्तियारी दिने प्रस्ताव पनि पारित गरिनेछ।
यो निर्णयले सेयरधनीहरूलाई कम्पनीको गतिविधिमा सहभागी गराई उनीहरूको हित संरक्षण गर्ने उद्देश्य राखेको छ। यस कदमले कम्पनीको पारदर्शिता र प्रगति थप सुदृढ हुने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।

United Modi Hydropower Limited has rescheduled its postponed annual general meeting (AGM) to 27th Jestha 2080. The company's board meeting held on Wednesday decided that the AGM will commence at 11 AM at the Kalimati Banquet in Kalimati.
The previous AGM was postponed due to the lack of a quorum. The upcoming AGM will discuss and approve the annual report for the past financial year, appoint an auditor for the current financial year, and determine the auditor's remuneration.
This AGM will also approve the proposal to issue 100% right shares (1:1 ratio) to invest in the Mewa Khola Hydropower Project promoted by United Mewa Khola Hydropower, where the company has already invested.
In addition, the AGM will elect four new directors to the company's board and pass a proposal to authorize the board to identify and invest in other viable sectors if necessary.
By rescheduling the AGM, the company aims to ensure shareholder participation in all essential decisions. This move is expected to enhance the company's transparency and progress, thereby protecting the interests of the shareholders.
