अप्पर माई जलविद्युत आयोजना पुनः सञ्चालनमाUpper Mai Hydropower Resumes Power Generation After Emergency Shutdown
काठमाडौं । पञ्चकन्या माई हाइड्रोपावर लिमिटेडले सञ्चालन गर्दै आएको अप्पर माई जलविद्युत आयोजना पुनः सञ्चालनमा आएको छ । आयोजनाको टनेल आउटलेटस्थित मेन होलमा गत वैशाख ७ गते आकस्मिक क्षति भएपछि विद्युत उत्पादन बन्द भएकोमा मर्मत सम्भार र परीक्षणपछि पुनः उत्पादन सुरु गरिएको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ ।
कम्पनीका अनुसार मिति २०८३ जेठ ७ गते बिहान १० बजेदेखि विद्युत उत्पादन पुनः सुचारु गरिएको हो । उक्त क्षतिका कारण आयोजनाबाट केही समय विद्युत आपूर्ति रोकिएको थियो ।
कम्पनीले मर्मत कार्य सम्पन्न गरी आवश्यक परीक्षण सफल भएपछि आयोजना पुनः सञ्चालनमा ल्याइएको जानकारी नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेञ्ज लिमिटेडलाई समेत गराएको छ ।
आयोजना पुनः सञ्चालनमा आएपछि विद्युत उत्पादन सामान्य अवस्थामा फर्किएको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ ।
Kathmandu — Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Ltd. has resumed electricity generation from its Upper Mai Hydropower Project (9.98 MW) after completing repair and maintenance work following an unexpected technical failure.
The company informed the Nepal Stock Exchange that the project’s operation had been halted after a sudden incident on 7 April 2083 at around 3:00 PM, when a manhole located at the tunnel outlet was damaged. The disruption led to a complete suspension of power generation from the same date.
According to the company, necessary repair and maintenance work has now been successfully completed, followed by technical testing of the system. Electricity production was officially restarted on 7 June 2083 at 10:00 AM after ensuring operational safety and system stability.
The company stated that the plant is now operating normally following the restoration process. It also confirmed that relevant regulatory bodies, including the Nepal Stock Exchange, have been duly informed about the resumption of operations.
The Upper Mai Hydropower Project is one of the operational assets under Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Ltd., contributing to the national electricity supply network.
