US Dollar Hits Record High Against Nepalese Rupee

The exchange rate of the US Dollar has reached a new record high. On Friday, the Nepal Rastra Bank set the buying rate of the US Dollar at NPR 134.90 and the selling rate at NPR 135.50, the highest ever recorded. Previously, the buying rate was NPR 134.77, and the selling rate was NPR 135.37.

Similarly, the exchange rates for other major currencies as set by Nepal Rastra Bank are as follows:

• Euro (EUR): Buying at NPR 142.02, selling at NPR 142.67

• Pound Sterling (GBP): Buying at NPR 170.62, selling at NPR 171.38

• Swiss Franc (CHF): Buying at NPR 152.71, selling at NPR 153.38

• Australian Dollar (AUD): Buying at NPR 88.00, selling at NPR 88.39

• Canadian Dollar (CAD): Buying at NPR 96.63, selling at NPR 97.06

• Singapore Dollar (SGD): Buying at NPR 100.44, selling at NPR 100.89

• Japanese Yen (JPY) [10 units]: Buying at NPR 8.73, selling at NPR 8.77

• Chinese Yuan (CNY): Buying at NPR 18.63, selling at NPR 18.71
