नेपाल आर्थिक पत्रकार समाज (सेजन)ले बिहीबार आयोजना गरेको प्रि–बजेट छलफलमा अर्थमन्त्री वर्षमान पुनले बजेटको विषय र निजीक्षेत्रको विषयमा राखेको धारण :

निजी क्षेत्रको घटेको मनोबल उठाउने सवालमा बजेटले विशेष ध्यान दिने छ ।
निजी क्षेत्रलाई तर्साउने नभई परिवार, सम्पत्ति र व्यवसायको सुरक्षालाई प्राथमिकतामा राखिने छ ।
उद्योगी, व्यवसायी जोसुकैमाथि प्रश्न उठेकै आधारमा अपराधी ठान्ने परम्परा अनुचित हो ।
निजी क्षेत्रको मनोबल उठ्न नसक्नुका कारण खोजेर सरकारले सहजीकरण गर्ने छ ।
आगामी बजेटले औद्योगिक वातावरण बनाउन भूमिका खेल्नेछ ।
आव २०८१।८२ को बजेटले महत्वपूर्ण सुधारको काम अघि बढाउने र बजेट निर्माणका क्रममा धेरै क्षेत्रसँग छलफल गरिसकेको छु ।
सबै क्षेत्रबाट अर्थतन्त्र शिथिल छ भन्ने गुनाासो धेरै सुनियो तर गत वर्षभन्दा अर्थतन्त्र सुधारातम्क रहेकाले आशावादी भएरै बजेट बनाइरहेका छौं ।
बजेट बनाउँदा मन्त्रालयहरुले सिलिङ बढाउन दबाब आइरहेको छ ।
वित्तीय र मौद्रिक नीतिबीच तालमेल गराउँछु ।
अर्थमन्त्री र गभर्नर टाढै बसेर प्रतिस्पर्धा गर्ने विषय नरहेको र सबैको लक्ष्य मुलुकको विकास हुनुपर्ने आफ्नो धारणा छ ।
युवामा भरोसा जगाउने प्रयासमा आफ्नो जोड हुने छ ।
कसैको प्रभावमा नपरी पुस्ट्याइँसहित नीतिहरू परिवर्तन गरिने छ ।
खर्च गर्न नसकिएको अवस्था सुधार गर्दै आगामी आवमा निजी क्षेत्रको स्रोत परिचालनलाई प्राथमिकता दिइने छ ।

In the pre-budget discussion organized by the Nepal Economic Journalists Association (SEJAN) on Thursday, Finance Minister Pun expressed his view on the subject of the budget and the private sector:

The budget will pay special attention to raising the morale of the private sector.
The security of family, property and business will be given priority, rather than spoiling the private sector.
The tradition of considering industrialists and businessmen as criminals on the basis of questioning is unfair.
The government will find the reasons why the morale of the private sector cannot rise and facilitate it.
The upcoming budget will play a role in creating an industrial environment.
The budget for the year 2081.82 will carry forward important reform work and I have already discussed with many areas during the preparation of the budget.
We heard a lot of complaints from all sectors that the economy is lax, but since the economy is improving compared to last year, we are making the budget with optimism.
While making the budget, the ministries are under pressure to increase the ceiling.
I will harmonize fiscal and monetary policy.
He is of the opinion that the finance minister and the governor should not sit and compete and everyone's goal should be the development of the country.
Efforts to instill confidence in the youth will be emphasized.
Policies will be changed with generations without being influenced by anyone.
In the coming year, priority will be given to the mobilization of resources of the private sector while improving the situation that could not be spent.
