World Bank Grants $150 Million to Nepal

The World Bank has decided to provide $150 million in financial assistance to Nepal. This amount will be utilized through the Department of Roads for the expansion of strategic road networks. The grant will support the development of major roads in Nepal and the maintenance of bridges.
According to World Bank Regional Director David Sislen, this initiative will promote the construction of safe and sustainable road infrastructure in Nepal. Additionally, it aims to improve access to markets and services for vulnerable communities.
