Kathmandu — The government will make clean cities, smooth transport, and safe roads an integral part of a dynamic economy, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle announced through the budget.
Wagle said roads, transport, drinking water, sanitation, and economic-access infrastructure will be developed in an integrated manner.
According to him, the roads and bridges linking all district headquarters will be upgraded within the next five years.
The Finance Minister also said the government will minimise the loss of human lives from accidents by improving travel safety and road standards.
