Indonesia C1 Tourist Visa for Nepali Citizens – 2025 Full Guide (60 Days Stay)

The Indonesia C1 Tourist Visa is a convenient option for Nepali citizens who wish to visit Indonesia for leisure, family visits, or participation in non-commercial activities like exhibitions and conventions. This visa allows travelers to stay for up to 60 days, and it can be extended upon request. The total cost of this visa is IDR 1,000,000 (approximately NPR 8,500–9,000), making it an affordable and practical choice for those planning a medium-term stay in Indonesia.

The processing time for this visa is generally five (5) working days, provided that all documents are complete and accurate. Once approved, the visa will be sent directly to your registered email. The visa must be used to enter Indonesia within 90 days from the date of issue — after which it will expire if unused. It is important to note that the visa validity (90 days) and duration of stay (60 days) are two separate conditions.

To be eligible, applicants must have a passport valid for at least 6 months (or 12 months for emergency travel documents), provide a personal bank statement showing a minimum balance of USD 2,000 over the last three months, and submit a recent color photograph. These requirements confirm that the traveler is financially sound and intends to visit for legitimate purposes.

Holders of the C1 visa can travel for tourism, visit friends and family, and attend conventions or exhibitions as participants. However, they are prohibited from engaging in paid work, business activities, or acting as speakers in events. Violation of these terms may lead to fines, deportation, or legal penalties under Indonesian law.

One of the greatest advantages of the C1 visa is that it is extendable or convertible to other visa categories (through legal immigration channels). This makes it a flexible and accessible option for Nepali tourists planning extended travel or multi-destination trips in Southeast Asia.
