Indonesia Visa on Arrival for Nepalis — Eligibility, Fees & Duration

Nepali citizens are not eligible for Indonesia’s Visa on Arrival (VoA) in 2025. They must apply for a C1 or B211A e-Visa before travel. The VoA fee for eligible countries is IDR 500,000, valid for 30 days, and extendable once for another 30 days. Nepalis can apply online through Yatra for Fun Pvt. Indonesia Visa on Arrival for Nepalis — Eligibility, Fees & Duration

Many Nepali travelers planning to visit Bali or other parts of Indonesia often wonder whether they can get a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at the airport. As per the latest 2025 Indonesian Immigration Rules, Nepal is not listed among the countries eligible for Visa on Arrival. This means Nepali passport holders must obtain a visa before entering Indonesia, either by applying online for a C1 Tourist Visa or a B211A Visit e-Visa.

The Visa on Arrival system in Indonesia is available for citizens of around 97 countries, including India, the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, and most European nations. This visa allows entry for tourism, business meetings, or short social visits and is valid for 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days, giving a maximum stay of 60 days. The VoA fee is IDR 500,000 (approximately NPR 4,500–5,000) and must be paid at the immigration counter upon arrival at designated international airports such as Bali (Ngurah Rai International Airport), Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta International Airport), Batam, or Medan.

To obtain a Visa on Arrival, travelers must have a passport valid for at least six months, a return or onward ticket, and sufficient financial funds for the stay. However, since Nepal is not eligible for VoA, Nepali citizens must apply for a pre-approved visa before travel. The recommended visa option is the C1 or B211A Tourist e-Visa, which allows a 60-day stay and can be extended twice (up to 180 days). This e-Visa is issued by Indonesia’s Directorate General of Immigration and must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.

The visa application process for Nepali travelers is fully online, and it is advisable to apply through a verified agency like Yatra for Fun Pvt. Ltd., located at Koteshwor-32, Kathmandu. Yatra for Fun Pvt. Ltd. provides complete visa assistance, including document preparation, online submission, payment handling, and embassy coordination. The company processes visas for over 70 countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, China, the USA, Canada, and European nations. Their experienced visa team ensures your application is accurate and approved without unnecessary delays.

For Nepali travelers planning their Indonesia or Bali holiday, applying through Yatra for Fun Pvt. Ltd. guarantees a safe, fast, and professional process. With proper guidance, travelers can easily obtain their C1 Tourist e-Visa and enjoy the beautiful beaches, culture, and hospitality of Indonesia without any hassle.
