Invitation Letter for Turkey Visa: Format & Sample for Nepali Applicants

An invitation letter is one of the most important supporting documents for many Turkey visa categories, especially tourist (family/friends visit), business, medical, research, and special-purpose visas. For Nepali applicants, a well-written and properly supported invitation letter significantly increases the chances of visa approval by clearly establishing the purpose of travel and accommodation responsibility.


Who Needs an Invitation Letter for Turkey Visa?

Nepali citizens are usually required to submit an invitation letter if they are:

  • Visiting family or friends residing in Türkiye

  • Traveling for business meetings, trade fairs, or company visits

  • Going for medical treatment (hospital invitation)

  • Applying for research, internship, film & shooting, montage, or seaman visas

  • Staying at a private residence instead of a hotel


Mandatory Details in a Turkey Invitation Letter

A valid invitation letter for Turkish visa must clearly include:

  • Full name of the invited applicant (as per passport)

  • Passport number of the applicant

  • Purpose of visit (tourism, business, medical, etc.)

  • Duration of stay and exact travel dates

  • Address of stay in Türkiye

  • Full name, address, and contact details of the inviting person/company

  • Turkish ID number or Residence Permit number of the inviter

  • Statement of financial responsibility (if applicable)

  • Signature, date, and official stamp (if company)

The letter must be typed, not handwritten.


Supporting Documents Required with Invitation Letter

Along with the invitation letter, the inviter must provide:

  • Copy of Turkish ID card (for citizens) or Residence Permit (for foreigners)

  • Copy of passport of the inviter

  • Proof of address in Türkiye (utility bill or residence certificate)

  • For business invitations: company registration documents

Türkiye for tourism and family visit purposes.

The intended period of stay will be from 10 June 2025 to 25 June 2025.
During this time, he will be staying at my residence mentioned above.

I confirm that I am fully aware of his travel plan. Accommodation will be
provided by me during his stay in Türkiye. All travel and personal expenses
will be borne by the applicant.

Business Invitation Letter – Additional Requirements
