Multiple Entry Thailand Business Visa — For Long-Term Travel

For Nepali entrepreneurs, investors, and company representatives who frequently travel between Nepal and Thailand for meetings, trade fairs, or business expansion, the Multiple Entry Thailand Business Visa—also known as the Non-Immigrant “B” Multiple-Entry Visa—is the most suitable option. This visa is designed for professionals who need flexibility to enter and exit Thailand multiple times over an extended period without having to apply for a new visa each time. It allows the holder to travel freely for various business purposes while maintaining a longer-term presence in Thailand.

The Multiple Entry Business Visa is typically valid for one year from the date of issue. Within this validity period, the visa holder can enter and exit Thailand as often as needed, provided each stay does not exceed 90 consecutive days per entry. This arrangement makes it ideal for Nepali businesspersons managing import–export operations, trade collaborations, or attending recurring corporate events in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, or industrial zones like Chonburi and Rayong.

To qualify, applicants must have a solid business background and maintain active business relations with registered Thai companies. The application requires a Company Invitation Letter from the Thai partner organization specifying the purpose and duration of visits, a business registration certificate of both the Thai and Nepali companies, and financial proof demonstrating sufficient funds to support frequent travel. A six-month bank statement showing stable transactions and a balance equivalent to at least THB 500,000 (around NPR 2.3 million) is recommended.

Additional required documents include a valid passport (with at least six months’ validity), a completed visa application form, two recent photographs, PAN/VAT registration, tax clearance certificate, hotel booking, and return air ticket. The visa fee for a Multiple Entry Thailand Business Visa is THB 5,000, payable through a Manager’s Cheque made out to “The Royal Thai Embassy, Kathmandu,” issued by Global IME Bank. The visa processing period generally ranges between 5–7 working days.

Once granted, the Multiple Entry Business Visa allows businesspersons to make short but frequent trips for up to one year. If longer stays are required, holders can apply for a visa extension at the Thai Immigration Bureau in Bangkok, typically for a period of up to one year at a time, depending on the business necessity and supporting documents.

This visa type not only saves time and cost but also provides significant convenience for business continuity. Many Nepali entrepreneurs who maintain Thai trade partnerships or attend regular exhibitions—such as the Bangkok International Trade Fair (BITEC) or Thai Gem & Jewelry Exhibition—prefer the Multiple Entry Business Visa to streamline their travel.
