काठमाडौं — कर्णालीमा निर्माण हुने ४२० मेगावाट क्षमताको तिला–२ जलविद्युत् आयोजनाको वित्तीय व्यवस्थापन पूरा भएको छ। तिला पावर कम्पनीले बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थासँग लगानी सम्झौता गरेसँगै करिब ७० अर्ब ७ करोड रुपैयाँ लागतको आयोजना निर्माणतर्फ अघि बढ्ने भएको हो।
आयोजनाको कुल लागतमध्ये ५२ अर्ब ५५ करोड रुपैयाँ ऋण र १७ अर्ब ५२ करोड रुपैयाँ स्वपुँजीबाट जुटाइनेछ। एभरेस्ट बैंकको नेतृत्वमा विभिन्न वाणिज्य तथा विकास बैंकले आयोजनामा ऋण लगानी गर्ने भएका छन्।
कालीकोटको तिलागुफा नगरपालिकामा बाँध र खाँडाचक्र नगरपालिकामा विद्युत् गृह निर्माण हुनेछ। अर्धजलाशययुक्त आयोजनाले सुक्खायामको उच्च मागका बेला दैनिक ६ घण्टासम्म विद्युत् उत्पादन गर्न सक्ने जनाइएको छ।
आयोजनाबाट वार्षिक २ हजार ३१८.७९ गिगावाट आवर विद्युत् उत्पादन गर्ने लक्ष्य छ। उत्पादित विद्युत् राष्ट्रिय प्रसारण प्रणालीमा जोडिनेछ भने निर्माण सुरु भएको चार वर्षभित्र आयोजना सम्पन्न गर्ने योजना छ।
नेपाल विद्युत् प्राधिकरणसँग २९६.७४ मेगावाट विद्युत् खरिद–बिक्री सम्झौता गरिसकेको आयोजनाले प्रभावित क्षेत्रका बासिन्दा र सर्वसाधारणका लागि २० प्रतिशत सेयर छुट्याउने व्यवस्था गरेको छ।
Kathmandu — The 420 MW Tila-2 Hydropower Project, to be constructed in Karnali Province, has completed its financial closure. The project is now set to move toward construction after promoter Tila Power Company signed financing agreements with banks and financial institutions.
Of the project’s estimated cost of Rs 70.07 billion, Rs 52.55 billion, or 75 percent, will be financed through loans, while the remaining Rs 17.52 billion will come from equity. Everest Bank is leading the consortium of banks providing debt financing.
The project will have its dam in Tilagufa Municipality and its powerhouse in Khandachakra Municipality of Kalikot district. Designed as a peaking run-of-river project, it is expected to generate electricity for up to six hours a day during peak demand in the dry season.
Tila-2 is projected to generate 2,318.79 GWh of electricity annually. The electricity will be connected to the national transmission grid, while the project is targeted for completion within four years after the start of construction.
The project has already signed a power purchase agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority for 296.74 MW. It has also allocated 20 percent of its shares for local residents of the project-affected area and the general public.
