ज्योति विकास बैंक लिमिटेडले आफ्ना केही संस्थापक सेयरधनीहरूको नाममा रहेको सेयर सर्वसाधारणका लागि बिक्री खुला गरेको छ। यसअघि विद्यमान संस्थापकहरूलाई मात्र खरिदको प्राथमिकता दिँदै ३५ दिने सूचना निकालिएको भए पनि उनीहरूबाट कुनै आवेदन नपरेपछि बैंकले अन्य व्यक्ति, कम्पनी वा संस्थालाई खरिदको बाटो खुला गरेको हो।
बैंकका अनुसार सेयर खरिद गर्न इच्छुक लगानीकर्ताले सूचना प्रकाशित भएको मितिले ३५ दिनभित्र आवेदन दिइसक्नुपर्नेछ। आवेदकले काठमाडौंको कमलपोखरीस्थित बैंकको केन्द्रीय कार्यालयमा आफूले खरिद गर्न चाहेको सेयर कित्ता खुलाएर निवेदन पेस गर्नुपर्ने व्यवस्था मिलाइएको छ।
आवेदन दिनका लागि नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले तोकेको 'फिट एन्ड प्रपर टेस्ट' (Fit & Proper Test) विवरण भर्नुका साथै कर्जा सूचना केन्द्रको कालोसूचीमा नपरेको प्रमाण, आयस्रोत खुल्ने कागजात र पछिल्लो आर्थिक वर्षको कर चुक्ता प्रमाणपत्रलगायतका कागजात अनिवार्य गरिएको छ। यसरी सेयर खरिद गर्ने नयाँ लगानीकर्तालाई पनि संस्थापक समूहकै सेयरधनीको मान्यता दिइने बैंकले प्रस्ट पारेको छ।
Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited has opened the sale of its promoter shares to the general public, companies, and institutions. The bank made this decision after existing promoter shareholders failed to submit any applications to purchase the shares during the initial 35-day priority period.
According to the bank, interested outside investors must submit their applications within 35 days from the publication date of the new notice. Applicants are required to visit the bank's central office located in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, and submit a formal request specifying the exact number of shares they intend to purchase.
To be eligible for the purchase, prospective buyers must complete the 'Fit & Proper Test' (Schedule 3) mandated by the Nepal Rastra Bank. Furthermore, applicants must submit essential documents, including proof of not being blacklisted by the Credit Information Bureau, income source verification documents, a copy of their Permanent Account Number (PAN) certificate, the latest tax clearance certificate, and a copy of their citizenship. The bank has clarified that new investors purchasing these shares will be officially recognized under the promoter shareholder category.
