Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited has called upon its shareholders to collect their pending cash dividends that have remained unclaimed for over five years. Issuing a public notice, the bank urged the concerned investors to claim their dividends within 35 days, warning that failure to do so will result in the funds being managed according to standard regulatory provisions (such as the Investor Protection Fund).
According to the bank, several shareholders have not yet collected the cash dividends endorsed by the Annual General Meetings for the fiscal years 2068/69, 2069/70, 2070/71, and 2076/77. The bank stated that this notice was published in strict compliance with the Company Act 2063 and Nepal Rastra Bank's unified directives, which mandate the public disclosure of dividends left unclaimed for five years.
Shareholders who are yet to receive their dividends must contact the bank's central office in Lazimpat or its share registrar, Muktinath Capital Limited in Naxal, within the 35-day deadline. Claimants are required to present their shareholder certificate along with a valid official identification document. For further convenience, the detailed list of shareholders who have not collected their dividends has been made available on the official websites of both the bank and the capital.
