काठमाडौँ — सरकारले नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज (नेप्से) को नयाँ प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृत (सीईओ) मा प्रताप सुवेदीलाई नियुक्त गरेको छ । मन्त्रिपरिषद्को पछिल्लो बैठकले पुँजी बजारको फ्रन्टलाइन रेगुलेटर मानिने नेप्सेको नेतृत्व सुवेदीलाई सुम्पिने निर्णय गरेको हो ।
अर्थ मन्त्रालयका सहसचिव महेश आचार्यले सरकारबाट भएको उक्त नियुक्ति निर्णयको पुष्टि गरेका छन् । यससँगै नेप्सेले नयाँ नेतृत्व पाएको छ ।
सीईओ बन्ने दौडमा अन्तिम सर्टलिस्टमा चार जना उम्मेदवारहरू परेका थिए । जसमा सुवेदीका अलावा नवराज सापकोटा, नारायण सापकोटा र अनिलराज पौडेल प्रतिस्पर्धामा थिए । ती प्रतिस्पर्धीहरूलाई उछिन्दै सुवेदीले नेप्सेको कमान्ड सम्हाल्ने अवसर पाएका हुन् ।
Kathmandu — The government has appointed Pratap Subedi as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). A recent Cabinet meeting decided to hand over the leadership of NEPSE, considered the frontline regulator of the capital market, to Subedi.
Mahesh Acharya, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, confirmed the government's appointment decision. With this, NEPSE has received new leadership.
Four candidates had made it to the final shortlist in the race to become CEO. Along with Subedi, Nawaraj Sapkota, Narayan Sapkota, and Anil Raj Poudel were in the competition. Outpacing these competitors, Subedi secured the opportunity to take command of NEPSE.
