चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८३/८४ को पहिलो महिनामा सरकारले ९२ अर्ब २२ करोड रुपैयाँ राजस्व संकलन गरेको छ। तर विकास निर्माणतर्फको पुँजीगत खर्च भने १३ अर्ब २८ करोड रुपैयाँमा सीमित भएको छ।
महालेखा नियन्त्रक कार्यालयका अनुसार साउन मसान्तसम्म कर राजस्व ८५ अर्ब १९ करोड र गैरकर राजस्व ७ अर्ब ३ करोड रुपैयाँ संकलन भएको छ। सरकारले चालु आर्थिक वर्षमा १५ खर्ब ८० अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी राजस्व उठाउने लक्ष्य राखेको छ।
राजस्व संकलनले सुरुआती गति लिए पनि विकास खर्च अपेक्षित रूपमा अघि बढ्न नसक्दा बजेट कार्यान्वयनमा देखिँदै आएको पुरानै समस्या यस वर्ष पनि दोहोरिने संकेत देखिएको छ।
In the first month of fiscal year 2026/27, the government collected Rs 92.22 billion in revenue, while capital expenditure remained limited to Rs 13.28 billion.
According to the Financial Comptroller General Office, tax revenue stood at Rs 85.19 billion and non-tax revenue at Rs 7.03 billion by the end of Shrawan. The government has set a revenue collection target of more than Rs 1.58 trillion for the current fiscal year.
While revenue collection has made a relatively strong start, sluggish capital spending has again raised concerns over the government’s budget implementation capacity and the possibility of development expenditure being pushed toward the end of the fiscal year.
