Gold Surges by Rs. 14,600 per Tola on Chaitra 11, Silver Prices Also Rise

Gold and silver prices in the Nepali market recorded a significant rise on Wednesday, Chaitra 11. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs. 14,600 per tola to reach Rs. 288,500 today, compared to Rs. 273,900 per tola on Tuesday. Similarly, the price of silver also rose by Rs. 415 per tola and is being traded at Rs. 4,920 per tola today, whereas it was traded at Rs. 4,505 per tola on Tuesday. The sharp rise in both gold and silver prices within a single day has also increased investor interest in the market.
