काठमाडौं — नेपाल सरकारले १० अर्ब रुपैयाँ बराबरको सात वर्षे विकास ऋणपत्र बिक्री गर्ने भएको छ। सार्वजनिक ऋण व्यवस्थापन कार्यालयले ‘विकास ऋणपत्र–२०९०’ का लागि बोलकबोल आह्वान गरेको हो।
नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकमार्फत जारी हुने ऋणपत्रमा बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्था, व्यक्ति, फर्म, कम्पनी तथा अन्य संस्थाले लगानी गर्न सक्नेछन्।
ऋणपत्रको बोलकबोल विद्युतीय प्रणालीबाट सञ्चालन हुनेछ। इच्छुक लगानीकर्ताले सार्वजनिक ऋण व्यवस्थापन कार्यालयको अनलाइन बोलकबोल प्रणालीमार्फत आवेदन दिनुपर्नेछ।
सात वर्ष अवधिको ऋणपत्रको ब्याजदर प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक बोलकबोलबाट निर्धारण हुनेछ। यसले सरकारले बजारबाट दीर्घकालीन स्रोत जुटाउन लागेको देखाउँछ।
सार्वजनिक ऋण व्यवस्थापन कार्यालयले इच्छुक लगानीकर्तालाई तोकिएको प्रक्रिया र समयसीमाभित्र बोलकबोलमा सहभागी हुन आग्रह गरेको छ।
Kathmandu — The government is set to raise Rs 10 billion through the sale of a seven-year development bond, according to a notice issued by the Public Debt Management Office.
The bond, named Development Bond–2090, will be issued through Nepal Rastra Bank. Banks and financial institutions, individuals, firms, companies and other institutions will be eligible to participate in the bidding process.
The auction will be conducted electronically. Interested investors will be required to submit their bids through the Public Debt Management Office’s electronic bidding system within the prescribed deadline.
The interest rate on the seven-year bond will be determined through competitive bidding, meaning the final yield will depend on demand from participating investors.
The bond issuance is part of the government’s effort to mobilise medium- to long-term domestic resources through the debt market. Investors have been advised to participate in accordance with the prescribed rules and procedures.
