मोदीलाई लामिछानेको उपहार : पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिरको प्रतिकृतिLamichhane Presents Modi with Replica of Pashupatinath Temple
भारत भ्रमणमा रहेका राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र पार्टी (रास्वपा) का सभापति रवि लामिछानेले भारतीय प्रधानमन्त्री नरेन्द्र मोदीलाई श्री पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिरको प्रतिकृति उपहार दिएका छन् । नयाँ दिल्लीमा बुधबार भएको भेटवार्ताका क्रममा उनले मोदीलाई उक्त प्रतिकृति हस्तान्तरण गरेका हुन् ।
नेपाल र भारतबीच युगौंदेखि कायम धार्मिक, सांस्कृतिक र ऐतिहासिक नाताको प्रतीकका रूपमा यो उपहार दिइएको जनाइएको छ । पशुपतिनाथको प्रतिकृतिले दुई देशबीचको सांस्कृतिक सम्बन्धलाई अझ प्रगाढ बनाउने अपेक्षा पनि सोही अवसरमा व्यक्त गरियो ।
उपहार हस्तान्तरणकै सिलसिलामा दुई नेताबीच नेपाल–भारत मैत्रीपूर्ण सम्बन्ध, सांस्कृतिक आदानप्रदान र धार्मिक पर्यटन प्रवर्द्धनलगायतका विषयमा कुराकानी भएको बताइएको छ ।
विश्वभरका हिन्दू धर्मावलम्बीको आस्थाको केन्द्र मानिने पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिर नेपालका सबैभन्दा महत्वपूर्ण धार्मिक तथा सांस्कृतिक सम्पदामध्ये पर्छ । युनेस्कोको विश्व सम्पदा सूचीमा समेत समेटिएको यस मन्दिरको प्रतिकृतिलाई दुई मुलुकबीचको साझा सभ्यता र आस्थाको सेतुका रूपमा अर्थ्याइएको छ ।
Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane, currently on a visit to India, has presented Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a replica of the Pashupatinath Temple. The handover took place during their meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The gift was offered as a symbol of the centuries-old religious, cultural and historical bonds between Nepal and India. Hopes were also expressed on the occasion that the replica would further deepen cultural ties between the two countries.
Alongside the handover, the two leaders discussed Nepal–India friendship, cultural exchange and the promotion of religious tourism, according to those familiar with the meeting.
Regarded as a center of faith for Hindus around the world, the Pashupatinath Temple ranks among Nepal's most significant religious and cultural heritage sites. Inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List, the shrine's replica has been described as a bridge of shared civilization and faith between the two nations.
