काठमाडौं — महालक्ष्मी विकास बैंकले इन्डियन चेम्बर अफ कमर्स, कोलकाताबाट ‘राइजिङ स्टार–ग्रोथ’ अवार्ड प्राप्त गरेको छ।
भारतको नयाँ दिल्लीमा जुलाई २४ मा आयोजित ‘चौथो इमर्जिङ एसिया बैंकिङ कन्क्लेभ एन्ड अवार्ड्स’ कार्यक्रममा बैंकलाई उक्त सम्मान प्रदान गरिएको हो।
भारत, नेपाल, श्रीलंका, बंगलादेश र म्यानमारका बैंकहरूको सहभागिता रहेको कार्यक्रममा डिजिटल बैंकिङ, वित्तीय पहुँच, नयाँ वित्तीय उत्पादन तथा व्यवसाय विस्तारमा बैंकले गरेको कामको मूल्यांकन गरिएको थियो।
बैंकका अनुसार सुरक्षित तथा सहज बैंकिङ सेवा, डिजिटल सेवाको विस्तार र उत्तरदायी बैंकिङ अभ्यासका आधारमा अवार्ड प्रदान गरिएको हो।
महालक्ष्मी विकास बैंकले गत वर्ष पनि ‘एसेट्स क्वालिटी’ विधामा सम्मान प्राप्त गरेको थियो।
बैंकले पछिल्लो समय काठमाडौंको ज्ञानेश्वरमा कफी लाउञ्जसहितको डिजिटल हब सञ्चालनमा ल्याएको छ। उक्त हबमार्फत ग्राहकलाई डिजिटल बैंकिङ सेवा थप सहज बनाउने बैंकको योजना छ।
Kathmandu — Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has received the prestigious ‘Rising Star–Growth’ award presented by the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata.
The award was presented at the fourth Emerging Asia Banking Conclave and Awards held in New Delhi on July 24, 2026.
Banks from BIMSTEC countries, including India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Myanmar, participated in the event.
The bank said the recognition was based on its performance in expanding digital banking services, developing innovative financial products, growing its business, improving financial access and promoting responsible banking practices.
Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank had also received an award under the ‘Asset Quality’ category last year.
The bank has recently opened a digital hub with a coffee lounge at Gyaneshwor in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30. It said the facility is designed to provide customers with easier and more modern access to digital banking services.
The bank believes the latest award will further strengthen its recognition in the regional and international banking sector.
