काठमाडौं — माण्डु हाइड्रोपावर लिमिटेडले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को चौथो त्रैमाससम्म ३१ करोड ८५ लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा कमाएको छ। अघिल्लो आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिमा ६ करोड १८ लाख रुपैयाँ नाफा कमाएको कम्पनीको नाफा यसपटक ४१४.८० प्रतिशतले बढेको हो।
कम्पनीको विद्युत् बिक्रीबाट हुने आम्दानी उल्लेख्य रूपमा बढेको छ। अघिल्लो वर्ष २० करोड ४७ लाख रुपैयाँ रहेको यस्तो आम्दानी २८८.२६ प्रतिशतले बढेर ७९ करोड ४९ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। यद्यपि, कुल आम्दानी भने ०.२५ प्रतिशतले मात्रै बढेको वित्तीय विवरणमा उल्लेख छ।
समीक्षा अवधिमा कम्पनीको सञ्चालन नाफा ५.८२ प्रतिशतले घटेर ६९ करोड ५ लाख रुपैयाँमा सीमित भएको छ। वित्तीय लागत पनि १९.९१ प्रतिशतले बढेर १९ करोड ४१ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। विद्युत् बिक्री आम्दानीको तीव्र वृद्धिले बढेको वित्तीय लागत र सञ्चालन नाफाको गिरावटलाई छोप्दै खुद नाफामा ठूलो सुधार ल्याएको देखिन्छ।
कम्पनीको चुक्ता पुँजी १ अर्ब ३६ करोड ३६ लाख रुपैयाँ छ भने जगेडा तथा सञ्चित कोष ५८.९७ प्रतिशतले बढेर ८५ करोड ७४ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। वार्षिकीकृत प्रतिशेयर आम्दानी ४ रुपैयाँ ५४ पैसाबाट बढेर २३ रुपैयाँ ३६ पैसा पुगेको छ। प्रतिशेयर नेटवर्थ १६२ रुपैयाँ ८८ पैसा र मूल्य–आम्दानी अनुपात ३४.२५ गुणा कायम भएको छ।
ललितपुर र मकवानपुरको सीमामा रहेको कम्पनीको बागमती साना जलविद्युत् आयोजना २०८१ असोजको बाढीपहिरोबाट क्षतिग्रस्त भएको थियो। पुनर्निर्माणपछि आयोजना पूर्ण सञ्चालनमा आएको र क्षमता २२ मेगावाटबाट बढाएर ३२ मेगावाट कायम गरिएको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ। आयोजना पुनः सञ्चालन र क्षमता विस्तारले आगामी अवधिको विद्युत् उत्पादन तथा आम्दानीमा थप सहयोग पुग्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
Kathmandu — Mandu Hydropower Limited reported a net profit of Rs 318.55 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2082/83, according to its unaudited financial statement. The company had earned Rs 61.87 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year, representing a sharp increase of 414.80 percent.
Revenue from electricity sales rose significantly to Rs 794.93 million from Rs 204.74 million a year earlier, an increase of 288.26 percent. However, the company’s total income increased only marginally by 0.25 percent to Rs 794.94 million.
Despite the rise in net profit, operating profit declined by 5.82 percent to Rs 690.54 million. Finance costs increased by 19.91 percent to Rs 194.12 million. The substantial growth in electricity sales appears to have offset the higher financing expenses and the decline in operating profit.
The company’s paid-up capital remained at Rs 1.36 billion, while reserves and surplus increased by 58.97 percent to Rs 857.47 million. Annualised earnings per share rose from Rs 4.54 to Rs 23.36. Net worth per share stood at Rs 162.88, while the price-to-earnings ratio was 34.25 times.
Mandu Hydropower operates the Bagmati Small Hydropower Project along the Lalitpur–Makwanpur border. The project, which was damaged by floods and landslides in Asoj 2081, has been reconstructed and brought back into full operation. The company has also secured approval to expand the project’s capacity from 22 megawatts to 32 megawatts, which could support further growth in electricity generation and revenue.
