माउन्ट एभरेष्ट पावरको आईपीओ सर्वसाधारणका लागि खुलाMount Everest Power IPO Opens for General Investors
काठमाडौं । माउन्ट एभरेष्ट पावर डेभलपमेन्टको प्राथमिक सेयर (आईपीओ) आज (असार ३) देखि सर्वसाधारणका लागि खुला गरिएको छ। आयोजना प्रभावित स्थानीय र वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा रहेका नेपालीका लागि निष्कासन गरिएको सेयर बाँडफाँटपछि कम्पनीले दोस्रो चरणमा सर्वसाधारणका लागि बिक्री खुलाएको हो।
कम्पनीले धितोपत्र बोर्डबाट जारी पुँजी ८६ करोड रुपैयाँको ३० प्रतिशत अर्थात् २५ लाख ८० हजार कित्ता सेयर निष्कासनको अनुमति पाएको थियो। त्यसमध्ये स्थानीयका लागि ८ लाख ६० हजार कित्ता र वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा रहेका नेपालीका लागि १ लाख ७२ हजार कित्ता सेयर बाँडफाँट गरिसकिएको छ।
त्यस्तै, कर्मचारीका लागि ३४ हजार ४०० कित्ता र सामूहिक लगानी कोषका लागि ८६ हजार कित्ता सेयर छुट्याइसकिएको छ। बाँकी रहेको १४ लाख २७ हजार ६०० कित्ता सेयर सर्वसाधारणका लागि खुला गरिएको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ।
आईपीओमा न्यूनतम १० कित्तादेखि अधिकतम १० हजार कित्तासम्म आवेदन दिन सकिनेछ। निष्कासन छिटोमा असार ८ गते र ढिलोमा असार १७ गतेसम्म खुला रहनेछ।
Kathmandu: The initial public offering (IPO) of Mount Everest Power Development has opened for general investors from today (Asar 3).
The company has opened the second phase of its share issuance after allotting shares reserved for project-affected locals and Nepalis working abroad. Earlier, shares issued for these groups were already allocated.
The company received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal to issue 2.58 million shares, equivalent to 30 percent of its issued capital of Rs. 860 million. Out of this, 860,000 shares were allotted to locals affected by the project, and 172,000 shares were allocated to Nepalis working abroad.
Similarly, 34,400 shares were allotted to employees and 86,000 shares to mutual funds. The remaining 1,427,600 shares have now been opened for the general public at a face value of Rs. 100 per share.
Applicants can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 10,000 shares. The IPO will close on Asar 8 on an early basis and on Asar 17 at the latest.
