NEPSE Lists NPR 7.046 Billion in Shares Over Eight Months, Total Companies Reach 286

In the first eight months of the current fiscal year 2082/83, a total of NPR 7.046 billion worth of shares have been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). This includes ordinary shares, rights shares, mutual funds, debentures, FPOs, and other types of shares. As of the end of Falgun, the number of listed companies on NEPSE reached 286, including 133 banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies, 97 hydropower companies, 27 manufacturing companies, 8 hotel companies, 7 investment companies, 4 trading companies, and 10 companies from other sectors.Additionally, NPR 1.259 billion worth of bonus shares were listed on NEPSE during this period. The Securities Board of Nepal approved the issuance of NPR 2.312 billion in mutual funds, NPR 869 million in ordinary shares, NPR 494 million in rights shares, NPR 20 million in debentures, and approximately NPR 5 million in FPOs, totaling NPR 3.701 billion worth of shares.
