काठमाडौं — दोलखा र रामेछापको सीमामा निर्माण भइरहेको ९ मेगावाट क्षमताको खिम्ती–घ्वाङ साना जलविद्युत् आयोजनामा एनएमबी बैंकले १ अर्ब २४ करोड रुपैयाँ ऋण लगानी गर्ने भएको छ।
ऋण लगानीसम्बन्धी सम्झौतामा बैंकका बैंकिङ विभाग प्रमुख दिनेश दुलाल र आयोजना प्रवर्द्धक वन्डर्स इन्जिनियरिङ प्रालिका प्रबन्ध निर्देशक प्रकाशचन्द्र दुलालले हस्ताक्षर गरेका छन्।
दोलखाको जिरी नगरपालिका–१ र रामेछापको गोकुलगंगा गाउँपालिका–१ भएर बग्ने खिम्ती–घ्वाङ खोलामा आयोजना निर्माण भइरहेको छ। कम्पनीले २०८४ चैतभित्र निर्माण सम्पन्न गर्ने लक्ष्य राखेको जनाएको छ।
करिब १ अर्ब ८० करोड रुपैयाँ लागत अनुमान गरिएको आयोजनाको हालसम्म ३० प्रतिशत काम पूरा भएको छ। आवश्यक जग्गा खरिद, पहुँचमार्ग, विद्युत् जडान, गोदाम तथा आवास निर्माणका काम सम्पन्न भइसकेका छन्। सिभिल, हाइड्रो मेकानिकल र इलेक्ट्रो मेकानिकल कामका लागि ठेक्का सम्झौतासमेत भइसकेको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ।
आयोजनाका लागि आवश्यक सरकारी जग्गा प्रयोग र रुख कटानको अनुमति मन्त्रिपरिषद्बाट प्राप्त भइसकेको छ। कम्पनीका अनुसार गौरीशंकर संरक्षण क्षेत्रभित्र निर्माणाधीन आयोजनामा वातावरणीय तथा सामाजिक मापदण्ड पालना गर्दै स्थानीय समुदायको सहभागितालाई प्राथमिकता दिइएको छ।
Kathmandu — NMB Bank has agreed to provide a loan of Rs 1.24 billion for the construction of the 9-megawatt Khimti-Ghwang Small Hydropower Project being developed along the border of Dolakha and Ramechhap districts.
A financing agreement was signed between project developer Wonders Engineering Pvt Ltd and NMB Bank. The agreement was signed by Dinesh Dulal, head of the bank’s banking department, and Prakash Chandra Dulal, managing director of the company.
The project is being constructed on the Khimti-Ghwang River, which flows through Jiri Municipality-1 of Dolakha and Gokulganga Rural Municipality-1 of Ramechhap. The company aims to complete the project by Chaitra 2084 BS.
The project is estimated to cost around Rs 1.80 billion, of which Rs 1.24 billion will be financed through the NMB Bank loan. Around 30 per cent of the construction work has been completed so far.
According to the company, land acquisition, electricity connection, access road construction, warehouses and residential facilities have already been completed. Contracts for civil, hydromechanical and electromechanical works have also been finalised.
The project, located within the Gaurishankar Conservation Area, is being developed in line with environmental and social standards. The company said it is focusing on reducing environmental impact, encouraging local participation and following sustainable development practices.
