देशका विभिन्न भू–भागमा आज मनसुनी वायु, पश्चिमी वायु र स्थानीय वायुको प्रभाव देखिएको छ। मौसम पूर्वानुमान महाशाखाका अनुसार कोशी, मधेश र बागमती प्रदेशका अधिकांश भू–भागमा मनसुनी वायु सक्रिय रहेको छ। गण्डकी प्रदेशका केही स्थान र लुम्बिनी प्रदेशको पूर्वी भू–भागका थोरै स्थानमा पनि मनसुनी प्रणालीको प्रभाव रहेको जनाइएको छ।
महाशाखाका अनुसार देशका बाँकी भू–भागमा पश्चिमी वायु र स्थानीय वायुको आंशिक प्रभाव छ। हाल कोशी, मधेश, बागमती र गण्डकी प्रदेशमा साधारणतया बादल लागेको छ। लुम्बिनी, कर्णाली र सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका हिमाली क्षेत्रमा भने आंशिक बदली रहेको छ।
अहिले कोशी, बागमती, गण्डकी र कर्णाली प्रदेशका एक–दुई स्थानमा मेघगर्जन र चट्याङसहित हल्कादेखि मध्यम वर्षा भइरहेको महाशाखाले जनाएको छ। केही स्थानमा वर्षासँगै मौसम बदली भए पनि तराईका केही भागमा गर्मीको प्रभाव अझै कायम छ।
लुम्बिनी र सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका तराई भू–भागका केही स्थानमा तातो लहरको अवस्था रहेको छ। यस्तै, लुम्बिनी र सुदूरपश्चिमका पहाडी क्षेत्र तथा बागमती र गण्डकी प्रदेशका पहाडी र तराई भू–भागका केही स्थानमा तातो दिनको अवस्था देखिएको छ।
आज दिउँसो देशका हिमाली र पहाडी भू–भागमा मौसम साधारणतया बदली रहने अनुमान गरिएको छ। कोशी प्रदेशका तराई भू–भागमा पनि बादल लाग्ने सम्भावना छ। मधेश प्रदेश तथा बागमती र गण्डकी प्रदेशका तराई क्षेत्रमा भने आंशिक बदली रहने महाशाखाले जनाएको छ।
लुम्बिनी र सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका तराई भू–भागमा भने मौसम मुख्यतया सफा रहने पूर्वानुमान गरिएको छ। तर, हिमाली र पहाडी भू–भागका केही स्थानमा मेघगर्जन र चट्याङसहित मध्यमसम्मको वर्षा तथा हिमपातको सम्भावना छ।
कोशी प्रदेशका तराई भू–भाग र मधेश प्रदेशका थोरै स्थानमा पनि चट्याङसहित वर्षाको सम्भावना रहेको छ। बागमती र गण्डकी प्रदेशका तराई क्षेत्रका एक–दुई स्थानमा पनि मेघगर्जनसहित मध्यमसम्मको वर्षा हुन सक्ने महाशाखाले जनाएको छ।
यसैबीच, लुम्बिनी र सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका तराई भू–भागका केही स्थानमा तातो लहर चल्न सक्ने सम्भावना छ। बागमती र गण्डकी प्रदेशका तराई क्षेत्रका केही स्थानमा पनि तातो दिनको अवस्था रहने पूर्वानुमान गरिएको छ।
राति कोशी, मधेश, बागमती र गण्डकी प्रदेशमा साधारणतया बादल लाग्नेछ। लुम्बिनी, कर्णाली र सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका हिमाली र पहाडी क्षेत्रमा आंशिक बदली रहने महाशाखाले जनाएको छ। लुम्बिनी र सुदूरपश्चिमका तराई भू–भागमा भने राति पनि मौसम मुख्यतया सफा रहने अनुमान गरिएको छ।
रातको समयमा कोशी, बागमती र गण्डकी प्रदेशका हिमाली तथा पहाडी भू–भागका केही स्थानमा मेघगर्जन र चट्याङसहित मध्यमसम्मको वर्षा वा हिमपात हुन सक्नेछ। लुम्बिनी प्रदेशका हिमाली र पहाडी क्षेत्रका एक–दुई स्थानमा पनि वर्षाको सम्भावना रहेको छ।
कोशी प्रदेशका तराई भू–भाग र मधेश प्रदेशका थोरै स्थानमा राति पनि चट्याङसहित वर्षा हुन सक्ने महाशाखाले जनाएको छ। बागमती र गण्डकी प्रदेशका तराई भू–भागका एक–दुई स्थानमा पनि वर्षाको सम्भावना रहेकाले सतर्कता अपनाउन आग्रह गरिएको छ।
Monsoon winds are currently affecting all areas of Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces. Some parts of Gandaki Province and a few areas in the eastern part of Lumbini Province are also under the influence of monsoon winds.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the rest of the country is experiencing partial influence of westerly and local winds.
At present, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are generally cloudy. The mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are partly cloudy.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. Meanwhile, some Tarai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces are experiencing heat wave conditions.
The division has also reported hot-day conditions in the hilly areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. A few hilly and Tarai areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are also likely to remain hot.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly regions of the country, as well as in the Tarai areas of Koshi Province. Madhesh Province and the Tarai areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are likely to remain partly cloudy.
The weather in the Tarai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces is expected to remain mainly clear.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning in a few places of the mountainous and hilly regions. Rain with thunder and lightning is also likely in a few Tarai areas of Koshi Province and some places of Madhesh Province.
One or two places in the Tarai areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces may also receive rain with thunder and lightning. The division has said that heat wave conditions may continue in some Tarai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Similarly, some Tarai areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces may also experience hot-day conditions during the afternoon.
Tonight, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are expected to remain generally cloudy. The mountainous and hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are likely to remain partly cloudy.
The Tarai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to remain mainly clear at night.
During the night, a few mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces may receive rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning. One or two places in the mountainous and hilly areas of Lumbini Province may also experience similar weather.
Rain with thunder and lightning is also likely in some Tarai areas of Koshi Province and a few places of Madhesh Province. One or two places in the Tarai areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces may also receive rain tonight.
